ABOUT PATRICIA

Patricia Lee is an artist, born in Jamaica but grew up in England. She lives and works in the United Kingdom.

Her style lies between realism and abstraction as she draws inspiration from the calming beauty and the natural world's incredible wonders. The changing landscape of our natural world, now plagued by earthquakes, melting glaciers, volcano eruptions, floods, and other effects of global warming, is of particular interest to her and balances her projects by representing the calm and the chaos.

She is self-taught, allowing the subject of her paintings to determine the style and mediums to use. She primarily uses acrylic on canvas but loves to explore mediums such as ink, pastels, and modelling paste on canvas and wood.
